In this book the authors have tried to publish in their entirety all known decks by members of the Göbl family. It lists decks from circa 1750 till 1870: 22 with German suits, 16 with French suits, 16 tarot packs among which are, beside the Bavarian Wedding, a very nice animal tarot from circa 1760 and 2 amazing Besançon tarot decks, and finally, in a chapter called „Other decks“, a Trento pattern and 2 games of the witch. „Studien zur Spielkarte“ (Playing card studies) No. 35.
