A guest sits at the regulars‘ table in front of a tankard of Hofbräuhaus beer and orders the friendly waiter: „... Herr Ober bringen Sie mir bitte Donndorf’s [sic] Spielkarten!“ (Waiter, please bring me Dondorf playing cards!). Dated „Ffm 7/10 29“ (Frankfurt/M., Oct. 7, 1929).
