Visiting card on porcelain cardboard. 1 card. Color lithograph, enhanced with metallic colors, 64x107 mm, square corners. Backs: Plain, without imprint. Circa 1850.
Ed. Hennebutte was not only a playing card maker, he also patented improvements in the manufacture of varnishes in 1855 (Googlebooks) and had a store for paints, dyes, etc. In his first capacity, according to his business card, he is probably the successor of Jacques Deporre („ancienne maison De Porre“).
4 small adhesive traces on the back, very good conservation.
